Won' record i can't get my lg adr-620 to record i don't know what i'm do wrong it just keeps saying no audio could you tell me what leads i need and where they go thanks matt

    I HAVE LOST MY MANUAL. i HAVE FORGOTTON WHAT TO DO TO RECORD PLEASE CAN YOU TAKE ME THROUGH IT FROM THE START AND TO THE END WHERE YOU FINlize it please

You need to use blank AUDIO cd-r's as they are different to standard cd rs.insert the blank disc, have the input on analogue,press record and then play and the clock should start counting.when recording is finished press the finalize button it will flash on the display,then press play again and the finalize display will stay red till its finished.you must do this or will not play.

You are not using the wrong type of disk..you need cd-audio disks not just blank cds : http://www.srtl.co.uk/srtl/tdk/cdrxg.html

I own a LG.ADR-620 CD RECORDER, when i record from the in built cd to the cdrw and play back things sound OK, when i record from a external source to the cdrw and then play back i get interference only on...
When you record from an external source, the data transfer may be too slow to produce quality recordings. If you're able to download the external source first, then burn it to disk, it should produce good quality recordings.

Says no audio when trying to record
Ohhhh, If you look in the manual you will probably see that it requires blank media with the words DIGITAL AUDIO imprinted on them. DATA discs can not be used for recording on consumer CD recorders.

Audio cd recorder cdr775 won't accept cd-r blanks tells me wrong disk and not recordable. i have recorded previously a few years back. my book says use cdr or cd-rw, which i have never used rw never...
It also says "audio" or "music" if you look closely. Data disks won't record on consumer recorders.

LG ADR 620,Won`t record or play.
Mine keeps doing this. It isn't a disc compatibility problem. I find if I switch the machine off completely for about half an hour and then switch it back on the problem fixes itself.

Problem with audio cd-recorder LG adr-620
First of all, CD-RW will not work in most regular CD players.

CD-R should work in other players but you will need to finalise them first. Refer to your manual on how to finalise a disc. Once finalised your discs should play in 99% of machines. Only very old machines (from the 80s) might have problems.

Hi!
usually dedicated AUDIO disks are recognized, provided they have been fully finalized at the end of the record session. This works also with "standard" disks except poor quality one's (the cheapest, in fact!)
If the problem persists, perhaps the LENS is dusty, or greasy , or worse :(
You can clean it with a cleaning CD or open the box and CAREFULLY clean it with any optical paper, eventually 70° alcohol.
You can also fix the green screw on the left of the lens but this is not recommended if y're not familiar with the guts of the machine. So avoid.
