Lights not turning on

start by checking your breaker box in some boxes there will be two breakers connected sometimes not if the breakers are fine your door switch could be bad or the start button is bad

Check out all your fuses inside cab and under the hood

Check breaker box for blown breaker and check voltage.
Try tapping on cold control with back of screwdriver (the knob that
turns it on.) It might have set up and stuck over time.

Change the date on the actual DS to a date earlier than today. this worked for us.

make sure getting right voltage check and re-set breaker with stove turned off

See if I get what you are saying.Sounds like the light switch is bad.That would be the first thing I would check.

Four blinks = No vertical Deflection (V STOP), Screen goes to a single horizontal line then the video signal muted. Check IC1509, Q1505

Breaker blows when start is pushed? A shorted switch is possible, but more likely the element has failed & contacted ground inside the machine. The easiest way to tell is direct visual inspection. New elements are cheap & fairly easy to install. Check for severe lint buildup in the motor, & make sure it turns freely.
