We have an old Newbridge (now Alcatel) Mainstreet 3600, that was reasigned to my group for band width management. The Mainstreet comes with dual E1 Cards with Coaxial terminals (75 ohms). We know that we can use the backplane Anphenol connector to cable out both E1 from the slot with 120 ohm UTP cables. I have the Anphenol connector, I have the cable and the tools to build the Anphenol terminal, but just cann't find out which pins to use to build the cable. Does any one have the Pinout of the Anphenol connector from the Newbridge Mainstreet 3600 backplane for a Dual E1 card? I hope someone out there can help me. My best regards Luis Ramirez
You can actually use the back amphenol(AMP-CHAMP) even if you do have 50 Ohm LIMS (which is interchangeable with 120 Ohm LIMS) in that card but not over a long distance from other equipment.
PIN OUT
TX1 - 1 and 25
RX1 - 5 and 29
TX2 - 6 and 30
RX2 - 2 and 26
You must have a Dual E1 card that support a 120 ohm interface. There are cards for 75 and there are cards for 120 ohm. Sergio - Argentina
