Question about ScanSoft PDF Converter Professional (m109a-g00.2.0) for PC
I am trying to open a PDF file and I get an error message that says: can't this command on an unsecured document. What does this mean and how can I fix this problem?
First of all check whether the file is not corupt or not and when it is not, then let me know the application logo on ur file and if it is adobe right click on the file then > properties > change. here u will look for pdf reader (adobe reader) then double click. let me know the feed back

Your converter preferences may have to be changed to allow this document to be opened.

Try printing then scanning the PDF.
(Or spend the money to install Adobe Acrobat -- and I do not mean just the READER program)

I already tried this and it didn't work. Any other suggestions, found no solution in the help menu. Does it make a difference if it is a digital textbook?
