My Sony Digital Camera only starts up and then shuts down after about 30 sec. This is experienced both on AC power or on the Info-Lithium Battery (All three that I have). The camera then does not turn on at all and requires a reset. Seems that there is an internal battery that may be overcharged and it is shutting down because of internal battery issues ?
Throw the camera in the trash and buy another brand. I had this problem and sent the camera to Sony autherized repair at a cost of over $200.00 and the camera malfunctioned again after a week.

As a matter of interest, what did the Sony shop say they found wrong?
