Question about SanDisk Sansa m230 MP3 Player

1 Answer

All of a sudden all the files on my sansa m230 disappeared.

I was listening to my sansa m230, I paused it for a minute, turned it back on, and for some reason even though I had just been listening to all my files just five minutes ago, the screen said 'no files'. It was like everything just suddenly disappeard. The computer still reads that there are files on my mp3 player, even though the mp3 player says there are no files! I have no idea what has happened!!!

San Disk Sansa m 230 512 MB

Your problem is probably beacause you accidently deleted "AudibleActivation.sys" from your "Audible"-folder. Format the sansa and then use "reset to factory settings" to make the file appear again. It might be a good idea to make a backup on your hard drive, just in case, and make the file hidden.

Permanent pause

It might be that the memory chip is fryed and it thinks that you are hitting the pause button, or eather it is that something is caught in the pause button. Take it a part or find something that will fit in between the pause button and clean it.
