My home theater system (samsung ht-ds1000) is a single unit that plays cd/dvd/radio. the radio and cd works fine but dvds do not load and "no disc" is displayed on the screen. the dvd spins and spins but does not load. please help!

Some times its because of the CD (it cannot read the CD) all you have to do is try a different range of CD's to see what the prob is if it still doesnt read it may be coz of a scratched CD / Lens!!!!

You could try cleaning the drive with a dvd cleaner disk and also a can of compressed air to blow into the drawer. It may just be dirty. Good luck! I hope this helps you.
