I haven't used my MP3 player in a while. Today I was listening to it and it worked fine. When I connecting to my computer to do some editing my player says ready but the computer says it is not responding. It will pop up to setup the player although I have used it many times prior without any problems. I use windows media player. When I go to open the device to delete some of the songs it goes all the way to internal storage and opens generic icons that do nothing. Is this garbage and time for a new player though it is fairly new or can it be fixed and I just can't figure it out. Please help me!!!! Thanks. yackangel
Have you recently updated windows media player? Version 11 has many issues with some mp3 players that will get solved eventually, but teething problems at the minute. If that is the case, then roll back to media player 10. Another thing to try is a complete format of the player, although you will lose all your songs on it. ask again with pc operating system details if you want to try this and i can talk you through it. have a look through this site; http://uiss.max.io/ You should find anything that is currently available to solve the problem, they have a slight site problem at the minute with downloads, but it should soon be solved/ If you get no luck then please post again - it really sounds like a firmware update would solve your problem. The only other thing worth a try is to see if you get exactly the same when connecting to a different pc. Hope this helps - please post again or call live if not :)
