I have a Cyberhome DVD-CH300 which I've been using for about 8 months. Last week when I tried to turned it on, the unit didn't respond to the remote control, but I could turn it on manually, when I decided to play a disc (region free disc) the legend "region error" appeared and it was not possible to play the disc, then I tried to play MP3 and normal CD's with success. So the remote control does not work anymore even with the battery replaced. What can I do ??? Do you know if I can get another remote control ??? I found that the remote control code is 940 but I can't program it in my RCU-810 remote control.
I hope you can help me.
You may be able to find one on ebay. Otherwise you would have to get a JP1 programmable remote and either have it learn the keys from a working remote or download the file to program it for the CH300. A fancy remote like that costs as much as the CH300 so it may be more cost effective to just get a new player.

Can I suggest maybe instead of trying to program your universal remote
control, maybe a better solution is trying to buy the original
replacement remote control for your Cyberhome DVD Player. I've been
down this road before and eventually you'll be faced with not being
able to find the solution and not left many other options. I went to
http://www.everytvremote.com to buy a cheap replacement remote for my tv and got it within a week and didn't have to worry about
programming the universal remote ever again!
