Question about Sony Handycam DCR-HC36 Mini DV Digital Camcorder

Macromedia Flash I am wrting in regards to my Sony Handycam DCR-HC36. I am having problems with the Picture Package software when I try to load my video. When I try to transfer my videos (from my Handycam) to my Pesonal Computer, the picture package(software) menu does not appear on my PC(The picture package software is already installed). Everytime I try to click on the Picture Package Icon on my desktop, there is a pop-up that says I "must install Macromedia Flash Player for Application to continue". I went ahead and installed the Adobe (Macromedia) Flash Player and it still doesn't work when I try to click on the Picture Package Icon. The pop-up still comes up. I also, re-installed some of the requirements for the for the camera to work such as Direct X and Windows Media Player. I also enabled my Javascript(active Script). The problem is most likely within my PC(maybe I'm missing another type of software???), what do you think are my options in resolving this matter? Thank-you for your time, Aurighteous

Instead of trying to start the Pictur Package software by clicking on its icon (shortcut) on the desktop, try to open it by clicking on the start menu, then go to 'Programme'. From the list of programmes appearing on the right hand side, move the cursor/arrow to 'Picture Package'. Now a list picture package pgrogrammes will appear again on its right hand side, click on the option 'Handycam tool'. Hope you will succeed in opening the required programme for transferring your videos from your handycam to your PC. ...from S.R.C. New Delhi. 25-4-07

I have sondy handycam hc-36e but while runing the picture package showing error " to run this application, you need to install macromedia flash player first"

If Macromedia Flash Player 8 is installed on a computer where no previous versions of the Macromedia Flash Player have been installed, then the Picture Package Menu option may be unable to start. To resolve this issue, download and install the Picture Package Menu update from the Picture Package Web site at: http://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/www/disoft/int/pixela/picpac/dl/dl_ppk_menu1x.html
The issue should be resolved.

Macromedia flash player and sony dcr-hc19e

Have found the solution to the problem. If you cannot access Picture Package because it says Macromedia Flash needs to be downloaded, and you have already downloaded Flash successfully then the problem is with Picture Package, and it needs to be updated. Go to http://www.ppackage.com/e/index.html and download the most recent update for your version of Picture Package. This solved the problem for me and hopefully will do the same for you!
