I have the same problem but how do I fix the KV-32HS500 TV from blinking 6 times ,I`ve already unpluged the tv about 25 hrs.

standby indicator blinks 6 times . came on once , won't come back on. what do the 6 blinks mean?

I can hear it trying to power up but the screen is black. The red light blinks 6 times. I have has success 2-3 times in getting it to turn on but now.... nothing.

Plug out the tv and let it stand for about 2hrs so that it can reset itself if that does not work take the set to a tech for repairs the problem is in the power supply and related circuits good luck.

My tv wont turn on.it sounds like its going to but

The 7 blinks are an error indication that is generated by protection circuitry inside the set. A problem has been detected and the set is shutdown to prevent further damage. The cilnking is the power relay that is attempting to turn on the set. I'll look up the eror code and update this with the likely solution later today.

Light blinks 6 times, no picture, no sound

6 times blinks shows error of Low +B, OVP/ OCP
Replace IC6501 & IC8002 [ MCZ3001D ] on D board.
If you are handy with electronics stuff repair and can solder parts in circuit board then replace above said ICs or call local TV tech to do the job.

I have over 10 years experience in electronic tech support.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but the problem you've described can't be fixed with troubleshooting. Your TV will have to be repaired. There is a part that has developed a defect and needs to be replaced. If you're still in warranty, the TV will be repaired at no charge to you. The warranty would likely be at least one year from the date of purchase from the manufacturer. If you purchased an extended service plan they will repair the TV at no charge as well.

If the TV is no longer in warranty, it will likely cost a minimum of $150 parts and labor. This is assuming that you only need one circuit board or small part. If the problem is more than one of the circuit boards, the price of repair could go much higher.
