I need help with 2004 freestar headlights no highbeams and one dim i checked relays under hood, and replaced the multifunction switch. what next

I would suggest you take it to a qualified repair shop if you don't know how to test automotive electrical circuits > Viewing wiring diagrams to see what all is involved , using a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter etc.... Just replacing parts isn't the proper way to do it.Looking at a wiring diagram i see the multifunction switch. is a low voltage input to the smart junction box ( computer) The smart junction box supply's B+ voltage for the low beams . For high beams the SJB energizes the high beam relay . With the smart junction box being in control there could possibly be diagnostic trouble codes stored . Autozone an advance etc.. can not pull these codes . One dim one ???? One dim low beam ? Could be a ground issue . You probably don't know about voltage drop testing ,do you ?

Desktop out for repairs. Moved 420 label printer to laptop area. Have copy of label file from desktop. Can't get the labels into the laptop printer and it's not in FAQ that I can find. Really need to make...

Microsft Word is probably not only the best but if not the only solution. Test print a label or two, at a time and then a sheet, at a time. Attempting to print muliple sheets from a file associated with a different, standard, printer may not line up well enough to print pages and pages, unattended.

What you see between these ---> < - > <---- Brackets are actions for you to perform.

You'll may wish to choose a Microsft Word Template, you can do that by opening Microsoft Word, <Help>, <Tempates> or (if you cannot find templates) via: select a label from your file and pick the number from the list that corresponds with the label on the box of labels. Please forgive the ambiguity, I'm working blind without knowing your Operating System or your version of Word, what printer, etc... This is general enough for most systems.

Here's the order:
  1. Click <Tools>, <Letters and Mailings>, Click <Envelopes and Labels>.
  2. Click the <Labels> tab, and Click <Options>.
  3. First choose the printer you want to use and next the label supplier number from the box sheets that you'll print your labels on.
  4. Click <Product Number>, scroll to the corresponding number from the label box. click Ok
  5. Click <Envelopes and Labels>, Click <New Document> and a label document will open.
  6. Type data onto the labels you choose to use, Avery number work well with Word .
  7. Click <File>, Click <Print>.
Now, you could try to make a copy of your label list, to experiment with, but it's probably best that you re-type the labels into each of the boxes while reading from your label program; until your PC is returned

Oil Leaking slightly from engine block

Could be some thing as simple as a leaking filter, drain plug, or oil pressure sending unit. If it hasn't been in for an oil change lately, take it in, mention you have seen drops on the driveway, the tech will likely note the leak and possible solution. From this you can determine the cause and cost.
