Camera wont load pics onto computer

I think this may be a cord problem. Ive used my camera many times and have loaded them onto the computer. However, now I cant get the computer (many computers in fact) to even register that the camera has been attached to the computer. The cord looks fine - there doesnt seem to be a noticable problem - however something isnt working. Any ideas?

Take a close look at the USB socket in the camera and the USB connectors on the cable. There are small gold plated spring contacts in there and they can get bent out of shape very easily. If this is the case, the cheapest solution is to buy a card reader and bypass the camera to computer connection all together.

Dropped my camera - now the cord to load pics to computer will not insert into camera all the way and so can not load pics ??

Take your media card out of the camera and insert it directly into your computers media slot. Or use a card reader. No need for the cord.

Can't down load pic to computer it says camera not connected.

Might be a problem with your cord...or maybe you are using the wrong cord to download. Make sure you have the cord you received with the camera. Plug in the cord to the computer. Restart your computer. Then (with your camera turned off) plug in the cord to the camera. Start the camera and see if it connects.

I have a sanyo vpc 600 and i cannot get the pic's to load onto my computer from the camera, the pic's are on the internal memory and it wont let me retrieve them, i can view on camera but cannot load to...

Skip using the software and drivers. Simply buy and use a card reader. No software is necessary with all operating systems made in the last few years. Another advantage is that you can have your own choice on editors, and other software for viewing the files.

I need to dowload pics but no cd to my camera

If your computer is relatively new and has memory card readers built in just take your SD memory card from the camera and stick it in the reader or go buy one. Most ppl don't use the cable from camera to computer, wastes batteries.

Vista/cant hook up disney pix camera cant find driver?????

Well...
I have a camera...

So first you connect the cord to the camera then to the computer tower.
Then you Take out the disk.DO NOT LEAVE IT IN!!!!!!!
wait for it to load then when it does you'll have to click next, next, then finish.
In a few days go to the file you loaded them on.
then insert the disk and click burn pictures

I would ask someone like a specialist to see these directions before you proceed

Internal Memory

It is possible. Go in where you can see your pictures and then press menu. Go down to copy and press right arrow. Highlight internal to memory card and press set. Should copy them onto your memory card for ya. :)
