Sony VAIO VGC-M1 - Keyboard

Hi, can someone please advise where can I get a replacement keyboard for the above model? It seems to me I am looking for a needle in haystack!

    Thanks Andyrst, have been looking on e bay daily and also on local papers/computer shops etc.. no luck so far. Some did suggested to use a seperate keyboard, which will kill the whole concept of having a Pc with such specs..

Angelo, do you have the installation CD-ROM that came with the keyboard and mouse? If so, it should work just find with your Sony Vaio VGC-V517G all-in-one computer. Let me know if you have any issues.

Sony vaio keyboard VGC-M1

Could be that you just need to clean it. Use a air spraying tool to clean out the keyboard. You could also try taking these keys off the keyboard, clean it, and then put the keys back in. Shouldn't be that hard to do. I wouldn't take it in to get it fixed though as you can pay for a new keyboard for less.

Certain keys won't function on keyboard

Could be that the connector from the keyboard to the mainboard is crooked. Try taking the keyboard off and wiggling the connector from the keyboard to the board so that it is a snugger fit.
