Question about Haier HDP18PA Stainless Steel Free-Standing Dishwasher

I need a manual to haier dishwasher model number DWL7075MBSS

My dishwasher is not working. the normal wash light is on but it wont start when i push the start button..

The code "OP" means the door is open. I would suspect you have a faulty latch. The dishwasher thinks the door is open and will not start the cycle.

From previous experience, I would bet that the circuit board/ control panel is failing. The one I had leaked steam near the top of the unit and the condensation will work it's way into the top control panel. Bad design on Haier's part. The worst part about mine was there is no adjustment for the door. I ended up getting a refund on the unit and buying a very nice LG model. Good luck dealing with Haier. They will send A&E factory Service out and they are not very good. I would suggest getting rid of the Haier. (personal opinion)

This is most likely an issue with the control panel.

Haier dishwasher stuck on auto wash

I think the flood switch has triggered which forces the pump to run continuously but does not take any other input. I am assuming it is the pump sound that you are hearing as soon as you connect power to dishwasher. The float switch is at base of dishwasher. You can press the disc visible near the filter sump. It should move up and down when you press it. If it is not moving then the spring is stuck and needs replacement. However if the disc is ok but you are still getting the problem, then you will have to check for flood switch failure. The flood switch is under the dishwasher and to access it you will have to pull the dishwasher out and lay on side. Make sure the mains power is disconnected and water inlet tap is shut.

Normal wash light blinking, d/w wont start

Wish I could solve this, as I'm having the same problem too. Normal light blinks not matter which wash button is pressed. Cancel light will light, but still NOTHING happens. Same model as yours.

It is in a delay wash mode.
Disconnect power for 60 seconds.
Re-connect power.
Press the Cancel button.
Press the regular wash cycle and start the dw.

You probably have a faulty control panel. I've seen a few other problems on FixYa where the control panel didn't work at all. My very own ESD300 had corrosion inside the control panel near the ribbon cable that caused it to stop working. I'm not impressed with Haier's manufacturing controls. In my case it looked like something done to it in manufacturing either allowed water to get inside or caused abnormal deterioration.

Dishwasher conrol panel light comes on but it wont go into wash cycle

All dishwashers usually start by draining first, if your machine does not detect that your machine is empty it will not start to wash. There are a few resons why this can happen, could be the pressure switch is stuck. Some machines ie bosch have a float switch mounted in the base so if your machine has leaked underneath and lifted the switch it will just stay on drain.... would help to know the make and model number
