You heat pump is actually displaying "PS" for Pressure Switch. Either there is not enough water flow or the switch could be bad. If you have a sand filter, put the filter head in the "bypass" mode and try again. If the heater works, filter problem. If not, heater problem. OP is the error code for a faulty Temperature Sensor. Try replacing the Temperature Sensor. I have seen many of these
units have the wires chewed up by mice, etc., so you may want to check the wiring for any damage.
