During the daytime put the LOWEST magnification eyepiece in the telescope-- that's the one with the LARGEST number written on it--

Practice focusing on an object at least 100 yards away.

The CIR electronic finder dose not work

This is a simple red dot finder. First check the battery inside the finder-- and replace it.

If it still does not work you can buy a new one here:

Missing parts to the Galileo FS-102NT Telescope

You can contact Galileo scopes directly here;
http://www.galileosplace.com/

Some of what you need may be available at a well stocked hardware store.

Eyepieces, and barlows can be bought from many on-line retailers. Here is one:
http://agenaastro.com/

The CD rom is probably just a planetarium software. You can download free software here:
www.stellarium.org

The scope does not need computer software to operate. However, you will find the free software above very helpful in learning the sky. Color filters are really NOT very useful; only the moon filter is needed which you can buy from the retailer listed above.

Actual proprietary parts like the accessory tray must be bought directly from Galileo telescopes. But a hardware store will have springs and bolts and nuts.

Galileo 800 By 80 instrution manuial

You need to contact Galileo directly:

Here:
http://www.galileosplace.com/

The manual will just have assembly instructions, it will NOT help you find objects in the sky. Locate a local Astronomy club and the members will help you.

I wonder if anyone knows where I can get some operating instructions for a Jessops astranomical telescope 800-80? My partners son bought one from ebay and it didnt have any instructions so doesnt know how...

You will not find a manual for this telescope. However Meade maintains a web site for their telescopes find one similar to yours under the REFRACTOR heading on this page:

Cant adjust the mirrors to see any thing

Remove the eyepiece, and look down the focuser tube. The small diagonal mirror should have the full main mirror visible. If not, then adjust the diagonal mirror until all the main mirror is viaible, and the diagonal is centered. Then the main mirror is aligned until all the images viewed are concentric, with your eye being in the middle. That should do it.

Can you tell me about the G900 Me Galielo ? I am looking to buy it for 50.00 for my 12 year old son. Is this a wise purchase?

No these are not very well made telescopes-- I am sorry but you need to be willing to spend about $200 at least -- to get a usable small telescope.

Something like this one--
