The problem is with rotor assembly of the drawer that is causing the F2 error. Turn power off. Empty water using a small container and towel to dry base.

Remove the washer arm and drain filter sump cover. Twist the rotor at the base out from the socket gently but firmly.
Clean the cavity and check the rotor for damage. Put everthing back in and turn power on.If F2 does not go away then replace rotor.

SOURCE: Hi I have a DD603

Before we talk about water not draining away, can you confirm if the wash arms rotate during the wash cycle. The rotor works as a wash pump and drain pump depending on which cycle it is in.

If F2 keeps coming then it is also likely there is some debris in the rotor cavity which is grinding on the rotor. But one needs to be sure if F2 is coming up only in drain cycle or is it already on during wash cycle.

Try these... -Clean out the drain pump inside and below.

- Pull the suction boot off the drain pump, clean out any gookus.

- Blow through the drain hose starting from the connection at the pump.
make sure it is not clogged follow the line from under the sink and disonnect it from under the sink and make sure it is clear
- If all else checks out, replace the pump.

The Duet hides the pump/filter access behind the lower panel. Most LG, Miele and ASKO washers have it right up front for easy access. I guess keeping such a base element out of view helps sales.

Long Drain error code.
If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and "F/02" is flashed.
Press, PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
NOTE: After 4 minutes the "Sud" error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the "F2 error code" will be displayed.
Potential Causes:(1) Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
(2) Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
(3) Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
If the above does not correct the problem replace the pump

What does f2 messege mean?

F2 This error code indicates that drain times are longer than expected.
If the washer won't drain there might be a clogged pump or hose. It's common for small socks or other small clothing items to get into the water drain system and clog the hose leading to the pump or the pump itself. Remove the hoses from the pump in order to remove the article of clothing. Keep in mind that any water in the washer will pour out of the hoses when removed.

Pump continually running with F2 displayed.

There is water in the lower pan that you must access by removing the toe kick plate and then the panel behind it. you will see water in the overflow area. Clean that out and all will be well. Asko's are awesome dishwashers that capture any water they may overflow or leak internally instead of it going on your floor, then a float switch triggers the F2 error and runs the drain pump.

Amana front load washer error code "nd". Door is

Hello there and welcome to fixya
From what you're describing it sounds like the drain pump is blocked. The nd error code indicates "no drain". If the unit can't drain it won't spin. You're going to have to slide the washer out far enough to remove the rear panel; be careful not to damage the floor. Once you get the rear panel off you will see the pump. Be sure to have plenty of towels & a small container to catch water. I am sending you instructions from the service manual to remove and replace the pump. Another possibility is the drain line is blocked or something is stuck in the tub to pump hose.

I have a 1776 Asko model & it doesn't finish its cycle-code mesage f-2 keeps appearing. Can you help me out.

Hi
F2 is a drain error and dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

F2 error code flashes and machine wont finish the drain cycle

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

F2 is a drain error in your washer, if the unit is unable to drain then after 4 minutes it will display F2. The first thing that should be done is cleaning the drain hose and the drain pump filter, you can take out three torx screws from the bottom front panel and then clean the area completely, lift up the cap to clean the filter. If the error returns then check the drain pump if it is not working then replacing the pump is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

The washer is giving a code of "F2" & not draining properly.. any idea?

This code indicates a pump issue. First, remove and clean the filter. Then you need to check out the pump.
