Pink Screen Synchronize to continue your music subscription

I keep getting this message when trying to play music on my Sansa E260. What does this mean? How do I fix it? (I originally downloaded music from Rhapsody during the free trial, but have cancelled since.)

everytime i try to play a song a pink screen shows up saying "syncronize to continue subcription

i keep getting the same message about syncronization. maybe it is because the songs dragged and dropped have a certain time when they expire and wont play. just a guess

I have a current Napster To Go subscription but still get the pink "synchronize to contine" message. Nothing on Napster's site offers any solution. I had to reformat my player once already. Now my "collection" is built up again and it looks like i'm going to have to reformat again. Any method to preventing this from happening? Any way to correct the problem without wiping out the drive?

Renew your Rhpasody or Napster subscriptions and reload/resync the songs - those two service shave fixed-term licenses

Sansa e260

You need to synch them to Rhapsody or whatever music service you pulled the songs from. also, make sure your music service subscription supports transfer to portable devices instead of simple transfer to a computer.

Synchronize to continue your music subscribtion???????

You have to synchronize your Sansa to a computer that has a current subscription to Rhapsody, and you have to sync the Sansa to that same computer at least once every 30 days, or the Rhapsody songs will stop working. Use a different music service that is free, or convert all of the songs to Mp3 format to get around the problem. If you get a subscription to another music svc, then you must maintain a current subscription with whatever new svc you choose as well.

Synchronize to continue your music subscription

it's asking that you verify the DRM status (i.e., that you bought it and it resides on YOUR computer.) It cannot play the file until you synchronize it with windows media player. You can delete them off of the MP3 player just by noting which songs don't play and deleting them through windows explorer when the player is connected.

Sansa e260 won't let me download certain music

If you used Windows Media Player to "rip" (copy) the music to your computer. The default settings are to "copy protect my music" if you didnt change this setting, the Sansa will want a "license" to go with it. Resolution, change the setting in Windows Media Player, Tools>Options>Rip Music (uncheck copy protect my music). You can also change the default rip setting to Mp3, as opposed to Windows Media Audio. Then you would have to re-rip the tracks to your PC, as unprotected. Make sure you delete the old tracks from the device, otherwise, it will always give you that error message. Best of Luck.
