Question about Alpine TDA-7564

1 Answer

Can't reset radio stations, have no manual

I have an Alpine TDA 7564. I do not have a manual, and have no idea how to set the radio stations. Any clues? The buttons don't really say, and holding down a button on a setting doesn't work. Any idea how to get a user manual? The online one I found is only specs and schematics. Thank you.

Thank you for the quick response. I can use the manual you led me to, but it doesn't offer the solution to my problem.... it is just basic specs. Still, I am pleased with your prompt reply and appreciate it.

are you sure you checked the manual for the 7563? - it is a full user guide - the link for the 7564 is the specs only as you describe.

Removing alpine receive from dash

Unless you have the 'keys' that came with the unit, you'll need an Alpine dealer to a) get keys so you can remove yourself (wiring just un-plugs) or b) installer. CStereo mfgrs use different snap-lock mechanisms and sometime different keys for different models.

How do I preset the stations for an Alpine TDA-7547 car Stereo. This is an older stereo and setting the stations is not intuitive.

Select the station you want. Then hold down one of the 6 preset buttons for a couple seconds. When the station ID flashes, release the button and it should be saved.
