2 years old. Monitor flickers occasionally and now the screen goes black if idle for a short time and won't come back on. Green power light is still on.

Sounds like the same problem - the monitor (MultiSync 75) clicks and the screen image will expand by a half inch on either side - or it will click and shrink by a half inch on either side.

monitor flickers and shows small wavy black segmented lines top to

bottom, picture sometimes fades to blank screen then will come back

to wavy black lines again and sometimes back to normal.

I had this problem about a year ago and took off the cover and found

some of the grounding jumpers connected but not locked, that seemed

to help until now, we were gone a week and powered down everything.

Now the problem is back, opened it again to check ground wires, all ok.

Its funny, now since I started typing it has worked normal ............ ????

My Samsung tv has sound but no picture. it is 2 yrs old. any ideas ? thx.

Hi Brenda,
If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.
Take it to a repair shop.

How do I fix flickering

Reduce the brightness level on the monitor, sometimes correct problem. The most likely cause is by the inverter transformer, and monitors usually have more than one.

hi...

in these model years it is very common for a water leak to develop at the left front a pillar...that the left side of windshield...once the leak develops it runs down the inside of trim, behind dash and hits the fuse box and gem module with water, shorting it out...you can check for this with a hose, or try to push out on edges of windshield using your thumb and when windshield is loose, you can actually see it puch away from body..or just use a hose and a flashlight..this is your most likely solution....good luck!

Need image of a 2001 f250 fuse box diagram

Which fuse box? there are three: The Battery Junction Block (BJB), the Central Junction Block (CJB) and the Bi-Fuel Relay Module.

Please review this article: Where's The Fuse?

Also, the information that you are probably trying to find is covered in the Owner's Manual for your vehicle. (Look under the heading of "Roadside Emergencies")
If you don't have an owner"s manual, you can download a FREE .pdf version at the Ford web site. I have provided a direct link below. You can save this file to your computer for future reference.

Monitor Goes black, or flickers on and off

The high pitch sound is coming from the inverter. It is faulty and needs to be repaired or replaced. The inverter supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp, this lamp gives the backlight to the LCD so you can see the LCD images.
