1999 Ford F-150 Lariat Super Crew. Lighter socket doesn't work

In this model, there are 2 side by side sockets for a light and a plug. One is labeled "Lighter" and only will fit a light, the other is labeled "Power". At first, neither worked. Replaced fuse, and the lighter side works. I need that power port for everything i own. And the light power will not hold any device other the the lighter. Now, other plugs will fit, it is just a connection that is extremely loose and will not stay in. Any suggestions on what could be wrong with the power side? Now, i even tried the lighter in that side, to no avail. That side seems to have no power. The fuse box diagram, only has the one 20A fuse for those sockets.

SOURCE: 2000 Chrysler Town & Country Power outlet fuse (which one?)

The fuse and relay positions are cast into the under side of the 'power center' (fuse box) cover. The larger boxes are relays of various power (not related to your problem). Check the wire at the rear of the power outlet to see if it is connected. Sometimes a fuse will open due to an element crack, but not be blown. Try another when you find the correct one.

The cigarrete lighter isnt working

Sure it's the socket itself? You can check it with a test light, but be careful you don't blow a fuse. You need to use the testlight's probe to touch the very rear of the socket (don't touch the sides!), and use the grounding clip of tester to clip on or just touch the side metal of the socket. Turn key on, and the testlight should light up if socket is working. If not, repair the power line to socket, or the ground for socket is open. If socket is good, the lighter itself is bad.

How do I replace the front turn signal lightbulbs in my 2000 Ford F250 Super Duty?

There are 2 screws on the bottom side of the turn part of your truck. The orange or clear on some models. In between the bumper and the lights you will find them. Remove the 2 screws then you need to pop the turn light out of the sockets in the header panel they fit into. Just apply even pressure to the outside by the fender with your fingers and wiggle until it pops loose and then do the same for the inner one. Once completely loose you can then turn the bulb socket which will pop out and you can see the bulb. Push in and turn the bulb counter clockwise until it releases and remove it. Replace it and reassemble in reverse!

I have a 91 F-150 XLT Lariat.. Brake Lights and both signals work fine with the lights off, but when the lights are on the Left signal and brake light does not work...(tail light DOES work though..only the...

Check the bulb. The problem has to be right there at the socket for the left rear. You do understand how the two filament bulbs work? The brake and turns use one filament, while the park lights use the smaller , less bright filament. And the bulb has two buttons on the bottom that touch two buttons in the socket. That is how the current is carried separate for the two lights.
It sounds like your bulb is wrong, or the socket itself is compromised.
