Had a problem where some songs would show and others not. Esp. with audio books from library and even ones I own! First I held down the power button for just bit till I got to menu! Yea! LOL Then I pressed the repeat/ab button till I got to settings. Then I went to USB and changed it to MTP. Apparently you cannot reformat without changing it from MSC to MTP. Well then I turned it off and plugged it into computer and it recognized it, but now I had stuff on there I still could not see, yet knew was on there. Go under the sync menu. right click and choose format. That should do it. Then just reload your songs. That's my only answer.
I bought a sandisk and it came with best buy stuff loaded. Well best buy stuff expired and i have a lot of memory tied uop with it. I want to totaly reformat and remove all related stuff to best buy so I can start from scratch
The drivers for the player if it is in autodetect would be windows media player 10 or higher and if its in MSC then it would be plug and play to the computer.
Acts like working but makes no sound!
