When I turn my playstation2 on it turns on and goes to the "browse" and "configuration" screen like everything is fine, but it doesn't spin the disk, nor will the lazer eye move. I turned it off, unplugged it and turned it back on, it has been dropped but not hard, but was working after that. So I dont know why it's doing this please tell me that it's fixable....I JUST got it like two weeks ago!

Your lazier liens needs to be cleaned. when you open the door or lid the lazier eye should be at the top of the rail. If it is still down then you will have to replace the lens
well that means the playstaions lense is broken so u have to get it fixed cuz thats wat reads the disk wit out that u wont be able to play any games at all
Same thing happened to my old ps2. I called a few gam places and asked if it was fixable and they fixed it for 20 dollars so maby try calling some game places.. hope this helps
