Ps3 my ps3 want sign in properly well infact it does sign in but then when i go to play online it keeps coming up with a message saying netwok connection failed disconnecting from network what do i do

Sounds like you have a network problem there. I'm guessing that you are using some kind of router to connect to the internet... within the router, is UPnP enabled? This could fix your problem. If it is, then maybe you need to port forward your PS3 to get the most out of online experience. Goto www.portforward.com in order to get detailed instructions on how to port forward your router. One thing that I can tell you is to pay attention to your primary DNS that your ISP provides you and make that your secondary DNS while putting your router as the primary DNS. Making a IP is a little different with each router, that's why I pointed you to www.portforward.com for more detailed instructions. (although the DNS was never really covered in it, that's why I said it here...) I had to do this with my xbox360 in order to get my full connection as the auto connection was making it really slow...

Hi,

As of now PSN is down and currently undergoing maintenance this April 21, 2011 at midnight. If you receive this message don't panic since there were lots of other PS3 user encountered this error message.
All you have to do is wait a while until maintenance is completed.

Do you have a PSN account? If no, create one, sign in, then try again.
If you already have a PSN account and you're signed in, can you access the PSN store? If not, verify that your PS3 is connected to the internet.

If everything above failed, it would be easier for us if you gave us the error message you're getting when trying to play online.

Ps3 online
gucciskills, this is a common problem if you have other people using your home internet connection at the same time. I have that problem every now and then even with no one on the home PC. It just means you are losing your connection. Try and reconfigure your router setting and see if that helps.
