The hard drive has failed. If you're in warranty, contact Dell for a warranty replacement of the drive - it's a customer-replaceable part.
If you're out of warranty, look on ebay for a good deal on a brand new hard drive for your Dell Inspiron 1525
first of all save ur all personal and non personal data, then reset all factory setting of ur mobile, then chek it out.
if problem is still remains then moves in msg setting, here text setting , now change setting according to ur will, hope sso ur problem is solved
1 message is considered as 120 characters or some thing like that .. so if it exceeds more than that then that single message is counted as 2 messages ... as it occupies the space of 2 messages .. and this memory includes the messages saved in the drafts, sent items, outbox etc
so due that you might be getting confused so just a have cross check regarding that ...
if you still feel that out of 500 it is not occupying correctly means there may be some firmware problem ...
this can be solved by giving the "restore factory settings" or "reset" ..
after you press the "reset" it will ask for "security code" or " password" input that ..
after the reset restart your cell once and then it will work perfectly ....
SMS and picture messages are not stored on the memory stick. Sony Ericsson phones have a set allotted memory space for messages and other phone functions. You may need to delete picture messages, check if you have any saved messages (these are saved to your SIM). Generally, the only other option would be to reset your phone. To do a master reset, go to your Menu, then select Settings. Under the General tab, scroll down to Master reset and press select. Select Reset All and press yes. If prompted, the default passcode is 0000. Please note that a Master Reset will return the phone to its factory default settings (including locking a phone to the carrier if it has been unlocked). All user data and settings will be deleted. If you have any files or information you would like to save, you should either back it up to a memory stick or your computer. Your contacts can be backed up to the memory stick or your SIM card.
