Depending what type of leather bed it is. If it is bonded leather, for sure it will, top grain leather will have less of an effect. Then you have leatherette or faux leather which is even worse. You want to make sure you find out who makes the bed, make sure you buy from a reputable furniture distributor.

Leather beds, just like fabric beds,
are not immune to the fading effect of direct sunlight. Even if you bought a
quality leather bed you should avoid exposing it to direct sunlight in order to
properly maintain the bed.
