When I turn tv on it go's from 0-99. Then it clicks off. after a couple secs. It turns back on and rolls thru the channels again,

Your set uses the 195 series chasis. The only thing I can think of which would make the channels scroll by themselves is a contaminated PC board and pushbuttons behind the buttons on the front of the set. This is usually the case when spray cleaner or some other fluid is sprayed or spilled on the screen, and it drips down onto that board. To prove this, remove the back cover and on the top of the main chassis, where the top of the picture tubes are, is a small PC board with the remote reciever and a couple of jacks. The smaller jack is for the speakers and the larger jack is for the front panel PC board. Unplug the larger connector which goes up to the front PC board and then turn the set on with the remote. If the set works normally, the front PC board will have to be removed and cleaned or repaired (or just leave the jack unplugged and work the TV from the remote only). If you do not have any experience working inside projection sets then allow a qualified tech to handle it for you.

You could have a few problems . If the front display light flashes only it could be you need a new deflection module . Also the HV block may be bad with it . If you have no front display light when you turn it on it could be the above problem or the signal board could be bad . The signal board would cost the most to get repaired due to it costs more. You would need a meter to check certain testing points to confirm which module is bad . Or call around to see who has the cheapest rate on an estimate to check out your tv. deflection board and hv block est $250 to $300. Signal board $300 to $350. Maybe more if you had a service call if you could not take it to a repair shop. Good luck

Your TV is overheating.. easiest remedy is to point a fan at the back of the TV or... clean the inside of the TV, Im sure its full of dust and stuff... this prevents air circulation inside the TV thus creating more heat...

There is a sub-board in this set that powers the convergence circuit. Often a big Ic shorts, two diodes and finally the main fuse. not something you can fix yourself.
