I changed my password, and i dont remember it for nothing.
I dont know what to do ; i called Tmobile & Samsung manufacture and they said that they dont know how to reset my phone and i am so fustrated because i need my phone to work !!
Also, the phone doesnt let me do anything i thought that after maybe putting so many attempts of wrong passwords it will eventually lock but it does not do anything......
Dont worry. If you forgot your password for your samsung behold tmobile it is eassy to reset. just follow these steps :
Step 1: Turn your phone off Step 2: press and hold down volume and hold call button and End button if done right you will see a Reset mode pop on your display screen step 3: This picture with icon over a phone pops just Press "MENU" and wait for your phone to boot and then enjoy.
When it prompts for your password press 86868592 and when u get in go to settings then security and turn the password lock off and it should ask for another password...enter 0 eight times and ur good buddy.
I had this same exact problem. I had bought my Samsung Behold on Ebay and when I got it, it had a lock on so I couldn't use it. I called Samsung and told them what was going on, and how I didn't know the password to the phone. They were real helpful. Since the Behold just came out, almost all of them are steal under factory waranty. They e-mailed me a free UPS label, I ship the phone out, 3 weeks later I got it back lock free. I didn't have to pay for anything! What was so great about it was that Samsung didn't question me on why the phone was locked, or why I didn't have the code. This was way easier then trying to type in a million numbers. Don't bother paying some cell phone repair shop to try and flash you phone. Just call Samsung. See if you can get them to e-mail you a shipping labe and flash it for free.... doesn't hurt to ask. I'm sure glad I did.

You will have to take it to someone who can unlock the unit to get the password reset. The unlock tool has an option to reset the password on the phone (at least the one I use does).

I have exactly the same problem. I called T-Mobile, they gave me a whole bunch of numbers and I had to make a 4-digit password. Well, the next day the same thing happened and my password doesn't work. I am very frustrated. It's new years day and T-Mobile people are not there, so that means I have no phone this day... great!!!
same problem but they said they are sending me a new phone but all my pictures are saved on that phone so i still need into that one.

I feel for those of you who forgot your password, but I'm glad that neither Samsung or Tmobile will help. I just purchased on and gave my phone a password. During my new year party at home it was stolen. I didn't even have it a month. Luckly, it was insured. I called Tmobile and they told me that because it was password protected there was nothing anyone could do. That was a huge relief. Again, I'm sorry for those of you who forgot your passwords, but that is why there is that level of security. Yes, I was upset because i had a memory card on there with a lot of information. Some was lost for ever, but knowing that i did not have to pay another $400 was a relief. Good Luck to you all...
