Hi,
no sound at all no DVD,no FM, no sound at all
I had this happened before and I unplugged/pluged back all the components and it the sound came back. No this time!
Are there any fuses that can be replaced? Are there any manuals on line that may download?
This is a 3 year old system. I may want to upgrade a bit, any suggestions out there?
I just had exactly the same problem. Tried your trick of unplugging and plugging the power back. The sound did come back. Hopefully it will last. Thanks!

Sounds like everything works. Your remote has an input menu. Have you cycled it around to the right component? i.e. HDMI1 or HDMI2, or DVD, even PC?
If not, try that.
First ;During listening FM ,Your " MUTE" switch is "ON" or "OFF" ? if not how about plain STEREO mode ? did you try it ?
Second..how about the other Modes , i.e ..CD ,DVD etc. ? same problem or it happens only in FM ?
ok..now the possible solution; sometimes FM stations do not properly triggers pro-logic circuit and cause such problem and you need to switch to STEREO or A.F.D mode to listen FM (AFM includes sub woofer).. This is true for FM only and it should not happen in other modes as DVD ,CD,Phone etc.. Hope this helps!..if more help requires pls let me know. Hello, It sounds like when you pressed the remote you inadvertently changed the scan on the ctv. This can cause the ctv ( colour tv ) to change from say ntsc to pal or similar. Even a reset button wouldnt help as it sounds like it is within the setup menu. You could try, as I have done this myself with a similar problem, disconnecting your dvd and putting it aside. Then, pressing the remote when in tv mode and watch for any change in screen flicker etc. If you have the original remote for ctv use that. If as you say, the tv goes to standby mode, you may have damaged the power supply, as the power supply will shut down to standby at any sign of a short.
power in the tv has nothing related with the DVD. The tv has to have raster (white screen) even without signal (cable, DVD, others) if the tv alone is just having the led flashing and neither sound nor video (black screen) The tv has a short circuit in some of the boards that are part of the tv system. the blinking is part of a protection when the tv was created in the factory. Refer to the technician to repair this problem.
check the cable connections coming from the cable or satellite box.Sounds loke you have a loose connection on the component cables.Green Red and blue coming from cable or satellite box.
Sounds like the other DVD player went bonkers. Try unplugging power on the DVD player you were playing the game on for 5 minutes, then plug it back in.
