Hi, to replace battery, you need to undo the 4 screws hold the back casing. When these are removed you can open the back, revealing the battery. There is a black plug that pushes into a white socket on the pcb, with 4 wires coming out of it that goes to the battery. Pull this plug out and the battery then comes free. Hope this helps.

your SD might be and SDHC or larger that 4GB. try to use a FAT32 formatted SD, no bigger than 4GB
