Remove the covers over the headlights and under the shiny foul. there are two screws. there are two tabs that hold down the cover over the wheels, they just pop on/off with a click.
on my xt. i had to remove the rolling brush and clean out all the hair that was stuck in the bearings. remove the screw holding down the motor and belt. pry out the roller brush to get to the bearings. there was some serious hair ball in there.
reassembled mine and it works perfectly now :)

The FantomCyclone XT was originally manufactured by Fantom Technologies, Inc.that closed in October 2001. The replacement for a Fantom Cyclone XTwould be Westinghouse Wired Deluxe Edition (either a WST1550 or a WST1551). These replacement products are now handled by Salton Inc.
