Well, in a word, no. However the camera does have exposure compensation (multi function button +/- and adjust the exposure compensation up or down) but the camera is not "smart" enough to give you the + and - effects of auto bracketing found on the more advanced Nikon cameras...I believe the D5100 is the least expensive in the Nikon lineup with feature. You don't! That is a job for a qualified camera repair man. Trust me. I know what I am talking about. You will have a pile of parts that you cannot reassemble when you are done and on a Coolpix, the resulting repair bill will mushroom to more then the replacement cost of the camera. Cameras and lenses come apart fairly easily, but often cannot be reassembled by following a simple reverse order of the process.
SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
