Logitech Cordless action controller 2.4 ghz is not working
I just bought this product. I inserted the batteries and I put in on my PS2. The PS2 keeps giving the following message: The dual shock 2 analog controller is not detected. Please attach the dual shock 2 analog controller to controller port 1 and press the start button to continue.
What am I doing wrong?

Do you have the controller that came with the PS2? If so, is it an original Dualshock 2? If it is, then it should work. If it is not, I think that the only thing you can do is buy another controller. There are also others that work. I have a Logitech Cordless Action Controller that works with BF2.
take batteries out control and put back in...turn off ps2 and while holding the button on the ir piece connected to ur ps2..turn it on and dont let go till game has fully come on...should work..if the red controller light still keeps blinking after doin it a few times then change your batteries
Hold down the connect button on the receiver and the mode button on the controller at the same time for approximately 10 seconds. This is a 2.4 GHz wireless transmitter and receiver (connection is somewhat like your WIFI router and laptop computer) and they need to reconnect sometimes.
Try this out since it solved the same problem for me:
a) Turn your PS/2 on with the receiver plugged in. You'll get the green flashing LED on the receiver b) Remove one of the batteries from the controller. c) Keep R1 and R2 buttons together while inserting the battery back on the controller. d) After 5 seconds or so release R1 and R2 buttons.
And that's it - at least for me.
I got this idea after checking Logitech site and reading about the analog controls calibration procedure (basically the same sequence while pressing L1 and L2 buttons).
Make sure that there are no other wireless controllers in the room to interfere with setup. Remove the batteries and start from square one again. I have 4 wireless controllers and had to do this to get each one to sync right.
make sure you put batteries in the controller also if you bought a new controller cuz you lost your old card or something take the batteries out of the old one itll interfere and you have to press an action button on the controller (the x,circle, square, and triangle buttons) if all else fails use your old dual shock and trade the cordless into gamestop for a used controller (if it wont work theyll replace it for free)
