Look on your instruction manual or go toshiba online looks up your model number...

I dont know how to fix it but on mine I hit the open close button slot and it will finally turn on. Very annoying.

Ideally I need the exact model number of the RCA remote you are using as these remotes use different 3 or 4 digit codes.

However I have listed the common codes RCA use for Toshiba. You will need to go through them, one by one, until you hit on the one that works for your particular Toshiba TV.

If for some reason these codes do not work - please post up the exact model number of the RCA remote and I will look at it again for you.

1) Common 4 digit codes for Toshiba

1000, 1048, 1072, 1105, 1109, 1118, 1160, 1190, 1241.

2) Common 3 digit codes for Toshiba

000, 048, 049, 071, 072, 073, 105, 109, 117, 118, 160, 161, 162, 190, 201, 207, 283.

To control a Toshiba TV with a One for All URC-3021, follow these steps:

1) Turn on your TV.

2) On the remote, press the TV key once.

3) Press and hold SET until the LED blinks twice, then release SET.

4) Enter the first four-digit code from the following list:

0154, 0156, 0060, 1356, 1656, 1704, 0650

The LED will blink twice.
If it does not blink twice, go back to step 2 and try the same code again.

5) Aim the remote at the TV and press POWER.
The device should turn off.
If it does not turn off, repeat steps 2 through 5 with the next code in the list.
