Embroidery designs Can anyone help me with opening zipped designs I have purchased or what formats I need to order for the quantum futura? I have winzip. Jazmon

Futura software can read most of home embroidery formats. Because the software was developed by Compucon, you might want to prioritize XXX format. Other common formats such as PES or DST will also work great with your Futura machine.

WHAT IS THE BEST FORMAT FOR IMPORTING EBROIDERY DESIGNS

Each kind of embroidery machine will import differently; Bernina uses an ART format and only that. Many collections (designs) are multi-formatted with ART, PES, HUS, ***, etc. Your machine will embroider best with a specific format - your dealer should be able to tell you which one to use. If that is not possible, pick an easy/small number of stitches design and try several formats to see which one stitches out best.

What embroidery download formats can be used on singer ce200

It depends on your software version. The list of supported formats could be found in the manual, on Futura support site or checked right through the sofware menu (File->Open, File->Save as)

I downloaded embroidery designs from the internet, however I can't seem to open them. I even installed zipwiz but that didn't help. Am I missing a step?

I found that you have to Download DST files. those work with the Futura Software.

Importing files into futura

Put your images into your pictures folder.Once in the Futura software,go to file,open design browser click on the top and find My Documents, then click on my pictures and they should bring them up.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD PROJECTS FROM THE INTERNET

Download free designs from website: www.annthegran.com , click on free designs and save to your desktop. The format will be in zip format. Unzip the file by clicking on the icon. The design will open in pes format. Drag the file to a new folder that you can create, MY DESIGNS. Open futura software, go to file, open, MY DESIGNS and click on your design. Enjoy!

It probably needs to update with the Singers program, it might have a deleted memory file or something so you really need to find somewhere you can possibly get online. Sorry
