I can not get the buttons on the scanner to work. I have unpluged, uninstalled and installed and it still does not work. It stated at one time that this scanner is not compatiable with windows XP. It use to work.

Same problem! Last week I gave away my old tower with Win98 and the scanner had worked so well for years. Now I switched to a newer computer with winXP and plug all my peripherals in and the scanner doesn't work, the wizard says "can't see it" even though I downloaded drivers and an online driver scan says it is ready to use.
Yah, Yah, time for a new one, but until I have the money is there anything I can do??
