Chassis help i bought asus chasis ta-8, and a motherboard asus p5pe-vm. the problem i am havin is that iam unable to sort out the front panel audio connection,., need ur help.

This is just simple way. Just connect your front panel audio plug connector with your mother board audio socket.

I cant find a sound driver for asus p5pe-vm
if your computer came with a motherboard disk the sound drivers could be on it
control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers or
audio you will find 3 drop down lists make the necessary adjustments there or
control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager,sound video and game controllers could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers

I have a asus motherboard p5pe-vm (865) . audio driver of motherboard are not work in windows7. please explain what i do.
did you try downlaoding the audio drives from ASUS website or try going to control panel then device manager then look for your sound drives then right click that driver and try to update the drivers there. If that doesnt work try uninstalling it then reinstall it hope this help you out

Front audio in casing
The front panel audio for this board is labelled FP_AUDIO and is on the bottom left hand side of the board. See page 39 of the following; http://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket775/P5PE-VM/e2609_p5pe-vm.pdf They're all labelled correctly. In your case, L-out - Mic2_L, L-ret - Mic2_R etc

P5PE-VM asus board audio driver
Hello there.

Please click here to download the drivers for your audio chipset. You may note that Vista is not listed but the driver version for Windows XP works in Vista, there was a problem with the installer cd on Vista but apparently manually running the installer for the audio card, from the cd works fine. Click here to see what other users of the same motherboard said.

Chassis opened or tampered before
Hi,

In asus motherboards jumpers there for the chasis opened or closed, this jumper is nearer to Front pannel connections in motherboard

IF u have the manual book for ur motherboard pl look in to that.

Otherwise u tried in asus.com for mnual
