Power and lights go on but will not start. Also, there seems to be more water in the bottom than usual. The small screen filter is broken so wondering if poosibly the pump is full of rubbish? If so, how do I access the pump to clean it out,is it through the back of the dishwasher or can it be accessed from the front or inside?
HI I think you should take the waste pipe and blow down it you'll need a bit of puff, there's also the possibility that the waste pump is blocked with debris you will need to take it apart to clear it failing that a new water pump may be necessary or if your lucky you can access the pump by tilting the machine after removing the mains lead and the water pipe inlet there should be an isolation tap attached to the water pipe good luck in your task cheers eric

i drained it first with the pull out hose in the access panel on the bottom left. i tilted the washer back to remove it from the bottom.

You should not need to remove anything to check and clean pump filter.
Open the filter door at the bottom right front of washer, there you will see the pump filter cover, unscrew the filter anti-clockwise, and remove the filter, and clean same.
With the filter out, you will see the filter housing, which is fastened directly on to the pump, have a good look inside the housing, and see if anything is stuck in there.
Refit filter, and test.

I had to remove the two little plastic tabs that prevent you from tightening the filter plud too tight. Grind these two tabs off and you will find youare able to tighten the pluf just a bit more and it will no longer leak.

Hello and welcome to fixya.
I`d suggest removing the back panel and inspecting if the belt has perhaps come off.
**Unplug the unit from the wall first**
If so, put the belt around the motor pulley and start it around the drum/drive pulley. As you hold it in place spin the large pulley and it should go back on, careful not to pinch your fingers...ouch :(
Let me know what you find out or if you require further assistance.
If this indeed solves the problem please take a second to rate my solution accordingly.
Thank you for choosing`"fixya" and good luck.

I use a putty knife about 2" inward , between the top and the front panel on each side . Give a good hit on one side while slightly pulling the front panel forewafd . Then do the other side . The front panel tilts foreward and hinges on the bottom with tabs . Then lift to remove .
