Sharp Wizard 9600-II won't start after replacing all batteries.

My Sharp Wizard OZ9600 II has served me well for 21 years, but the screen started fading. I assumed the batteries were low, so was using it on AC power until I could get new batteries. Then it went blank completely. I have replaced all batteries including the CR2032 and it still doesn't work. Is it truly dead?

Friend, try to replace the battery. If it doesn't work try to press firmly the LCD connection interface underneath the screen because such unit has lossen connection.use T6 screwdriver to open the unit then slowly firmly press the LCD connector on the interface. Such thing will solve the problem. good luck

I suggest that you remove the battery and use the charger only in turning on your computer. If it turns on just fine without the battery then you would need to replace the battery. If it doesn't then it's either the motherboard or the charger which has a problem.

My 1987 Ford Bronco II won't start

First you always test things & never replace anything

When you understand how things work & how to test
them, then they have to fail a test in order to need replacing

I would think Fuel Pump--if it quite while driving
Put a gauge on the motor if you have a shrader
valve to do so

Seldom do you need to replace a dist
The parts inside can be diagnosed & replaced
if you can source them

Things like plugs, wires & such you leave until you
know if you have fuel pressure, spark & so on.

Once a vehicle gets to 20 years of age you start
checking for wire corrosion such as around fusible links

Never forget the battery & it's cables & the internal
corrosion possible there

Worn ignition switch a possible

You say won't start,so I assume the engine
does turn over?

I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500. Once again, it wouldn't start. The battery was completely dead, and it would not even start with a jump. Replaced the battery, started fine. But, now the voltage...

Battery was completely dead ? after how long , over night , or just out of the blue ? These year GM vehicle's 03 to 06 have instrument cluster problems , draining the battery . Do you know what parasitic draw is ? Google it . They used lead free solder constructing the electronics , an after a while it causes silver migration .

Is there a fuse on my bob villa 21 hp craftsman lawn tractor? The battery is charged but it won't start, won't even turn over.

Check you safety switches, brake, neutral, seat, blades, and reverse (if equiped). Then if that does not work I check the starting solinoid and the ignition switch.

CANT GET MY SHARP WIZZARD TO DISPLAY THE CURRENT YEAR

If the pda was made in 2005, it's likely that there is a small watch battery somewhere which saves your settings, date, time, etc.
If this "CMOS battery" needs to be replaced, you're probably losing all of those basic settings whenever you let the main battery lose too much of a charge.
Hopefully, it's easy to access.
