Question about X-10 X10 FireCracker Remote Control
I want to make a dawn simulator like this one here: http://alumnus.caltech.edu/~jimmc/dawnsim.html However I would like to have the dimmer brighten in micro steps. I will be using an led circuit which is very non-linear and I will be losing a lot of gradation, so having as many dimming steps as possible would be nice (i.e. 200 instead of 20) Ideally I would use a mini timer that starts a module like the cm11a, which sends micro brightening steps to the dimmer module. If this is not possible I could leave my pc on but this is not preferable. I would also be willing to use other standards like insteon. Thanks, jjbologna
Make an adjustable 555 timer circuit, not only reliable, but as been used for years!
