Belkin router My belkin router is being used to have internet on my computer and on my XBOX 360. But lately it has not been working for my XBOX and will sometimes work for the computer. When plugged into the modem they both work fine. Is there something i can do?

Step 1:Connect Modem - Router - Computer (Wired)

Step 2:Open Router Setup by typing http://192.168.2.1 on the address bar of internet explorer

Step 3:On the Left click firewall

Step 4:Leave the Password blank and click submit

Step 5:Disable it and click apply changes

Step 6:Scan and connect in the Xbox/PS3/Wii

Step 7: Get the IP Address of the Xbox/PS3/Wii

Step 8:Open Router Setup in the Computer

Step 9:On the left under Firewall Click DMZ

Step 10:Enable the IP Address of the Xbox/PS3/Wii in it

Step 11:Click Apply Changes

Step 13:On the left Under Utilities click System settings

Step 14:Scroll down to the bottom

Step 15:Enable UPnP

Step 16:Click apply changes

Step 17:Test the connection ,Check the NAT

If working then let me know

Open Router setup

At the middle Under internet settings check the WAN IP

IF it starts with 192.168. or 172.16 Then you will have to contact your internet service and ask them to bridge the modem

You need to open the ports that the xbox and PSP uses to connect to the internet in your router. Contact your Router's support and ask them to open the ports in the router for you so that you can connect your game and go online. this is issue with port being blocked.

XBox Live is down today June 16th, 2009. It'll be down until either late tonight or early tomorrow. There is maintenance being done on the servers.

You must configure NAT (Port forward) in the router.

you may need to open the ports for the linksys Router aswell
because the linksys links the belkin to the internet there using a shared connection

once youve fowarded the ports properly check to see if you have enabled the UPNP on both of the routers if they have any

1. How do you connect your Linksys router to Belkin router? Do you connect your Linksys router to the Internet/WAN port of the Belkin?
2. If so, what is the Internet connection type set in your Belkin router? Is it dynamic?
3. If the Belkin router is set to dynamic IP and if it is obtaining an IP address from your Linksys router(you may check the status page of your Belkin router and look for IP address), then you may need to forward or set that IP address as the DMZ to your Linksys router. Make sure that XBOX is still configured as the DMZ host in your Belkin
