It does the same thing to me. However, if I go into photoshop and save the picture for the web to the same location, it does just find. It only does the red circle with the white "x" for some pictures, not all. It does the same thing to me. I also have a 7 inch Sunpak digital frame. It is displaying one image and then I get the red x, then it will show another image and then a red x. I cannot find a difference between the pictures it is showing and x'ing.I also have a 7 inch Sunpak digital frame. Have you saved the images that are appearing as Landscape in Portrait?
The frame should display the images as you saved them. Rotate the image in your photo editing program until they appear as Portrait, then save them. This should fix your problem.
It is possible that they are in a format the picture frame doesnt support. Browse the card with your PC, find the pictures the frame will display and make sure all the other pictures are the same format (ie. jpg, gif, bmp etc).
Alot of the digital photo frames will only display images up to a certain resolution. There is a good chance your camera resolution is too high for the photo frame. try change the settings on your camera to 3mp or so and take a few photos and see if they will display.
Had this same problem and found this solution after digging on this forum, and it worked...you have to pay attention to the "Device" you are pasting to. It's cumbersome for copying mutliple pictures, but with persistance, it works.
"I have found that when you have the source of the photo files connected to the picture frame and are viewing from the menu it says "USB" Select the photos you what to paste by following the instructions and then change the "Device" to "favorites" and the paste by pressing the "enter" button. You can only paste about 10 files or photos at a time...so if you have allot it take a while. hope this helps"
