After ever wash my fabric conditioner drawer is full of water even though all the fabric conditioner has gone. I have pulled the drawer out and cannot see any blockages there. Does anyone know how to solve this problem

I have the same problem, I've taken the tray out and given it a good clean-sometimes it works more than often it doesn't! Do you have black almost rubber like bits dangling down from the roof of the tray? if so any ideas whats causing that!?

See if there's a cap (usually towards the back of the drawer) you can pull off. This, together with the tube underneath it, forms the siphon that the water and conditioner are supposed to go out through. It's also where blockages usually form and will just want washing out (perhaps with the help of an old toothbrush) under a hot tap. A.

My model (hotpoint wmpf 722) doesn't seem to have any removable cap/tubes. The main drawer has been cleaned, but the conditioner compartment still ends full of water after every wash.

Why does the fabric conditioner compartment stay full of water after wash has finished ?

The detergent drawer should be removed and thoroughly cleaned - the drawer will open to the usual limit and then will withdraw completely with a little more force. The cavity the drawer fits into also should be cleaned along with the outlets that should now be easily visible.

Even after doing all that it is not unusual to find some water left behind in the drawer compartments. Sometimes it is necessary to remove the internal hoses and rod them out.

Bosch maxx 1000 - when finished cycle, leaves central fabric conditioner drawer full of water + trace of condtioner.

Check that the hose that connects the drawer to the tub is clean, fabric conditioner normally gunks up especially on colder wash cycles.

Machine won't draw out fabric conditioner from dispenser

Hello,
I dont know what model you have but you are correct in your assumption that the conditioner is siphoned out on the last rinse unless it is different for your model. Most machines I am familiar with operate in the first instance.Check that you have good water pressure to all compartments also get a toothbrush and clean the holes above the drawer even a bent piece of wire to unblock the small holes.

Good luck

The conditioner part is always full of water and does not take down any fabric condtioner that is put in. Have cleaned drawer an inside but does not work.

Take out the drawer and clean the compartment and pipe at the end of the drawer with hot soapy water - washing up liquid works well. Clean all around it. Use a pipe cleaner, cotton buds or piece of coiled curtain wire to ensure that the U shaped pipe is clear of obstruction. Pull it back and forward to dislodge any accumulated fabric conditioner. To show this is working OK, put it in the sink and fill up the compartment with water until it is overflowing then stop. The water should drain out of the compartment on its own.

Next, where the drawer fits in the machine clean the water exit above the drawer with a washing up brush. This can appear brown or white depending on your water type. If this is OK try running the machine. If there is still a problem, remove the drawer again and turn off the power at the mains. Use something like a paper clip to poke all the holes in the water dispenser area above the drawer. There are lots of them so some patience might be required. If you live in a hard water area it could be blocked with limescale in which case an application of a descaling mousse or spraty will assist. Once complete, make sure you rinse the drawer area, drawer and put the drawer back in and run the machine on a short cold fill wash cycle. Put some fab con in the drawer to test that the machine drains it correctly. A good idea is to slightly water down fab con concentrate as it will eventually clog up the dispenser. If all is well then there will be no fab con left. If it is still there then you will need to get into the water dispensing area to see what is wrong. Occasionally the mechanism can get jammed, lose a spring or just get broken, in which case it will need replacing.

Washing power drawer, the fabric softner section

Pull the drawer out as far as it will come and then grasping it firmly, give it a good tug towards you, this will free the drawer to enable you to thoroughly clean every piece of it, particularly the conditioner parts of it.
Get a piece of wire with a bend on the end, and poke it in to all the holes in the top of the dispenser compartment, this will clera any blockages there.
Plz rate my solution, and feel free to leave any comment.
Thanks.
