Two problems. My wife and I have retired to Mexico and our Spanish is un poco. We purchased an Emerson TV, model no. ETV2901 and DVD model no. DVD205. Both manuals are in Spanish and we have searched exhaustively, the internet, to find owner manuals in English, to no avail. We called the numbers for Emerson, to no avail and the number you have posted 905-940-5089 say it is invalid. Problem 2. We managed to hook up the TV and DVD, we get a great picture, but no sound. I should say sound but not what we want, a rouring, or humming. No words, no music. I have plugged and replugged.....to no avail. Any suggestions? Is the number you have posted for Emerson in the states or Canada?
Hi:
I recently bought an Emerson TV including the DVD205, and the experience I got since I bought 2 days ago was a working product with acceptable performance. I didn't have any problems related to tv nor dvd.
I'm not sure where you can have the english manual of the tv, but you can set tv menu to english language.
About the phone you're asking to, I'm not sure where you can call. An alternative I recommend is to e-mail to emerson's support center: 314-553-2000
Regards
mike

Go to the URL at the bottom of the page... Choose whatever set you think you want this UIVERSAL to work with... and away you go!

yes of course u can change just follow these methods
First, you need to install a Spanish keyboard, and turn on the key combo to switch.
Go to Control Panel, Clock Language and Region.
Then click on "Change Keyboard or other Input method". The Regional and Language Options dialogue will appear.
Click on the Keyboards and Languages tab. The Text Services and Input Languages dialogue will appear.
Under Installed Services, press the Add button, and select an appropriate Spanish keyboard (eg Spain, Mexico, US etc).
Press Ok to add the selected Keyboard.
Now click the Advanced Key Settings tab, of the Text Services and Input Languages dialogue. Select a key combination, to alternate between English and Spanish keyboards (Left-Alt, Shift, by default)
Press Ok to accept changes and dismiss the dialogue.
Your Spanish keyboard should now be ready to use, once you press the Alt-Shift combo. this is just the display language settings for full conversion you cannot do u have to buy a spanish version or ask your laptop assembler to put spanish version of vista hope so your problem solves with this solution
