Hi.... The problem is the flow sensor under the EM-200. There are three special screws. Inside there is this flow sensor. It´s a Hall effect transitor (w5029) but the problem is the small magnet in the small turbine inside the sensor. Open it, take the small magnet away, make a hole throught it from side to side and then glue the small magnet in the top side, closer to the sensor. It will work again. Brown wire = GND - White wire = 5Vdc - Yellow wire = pulse.

.
After 1 year and 3 months, the problem appeared again. The same flow sensor. The small magnet was completly rusty. I had to change it with a new one. The problem is solved. You can also buy a new flow sensor at Aliexpress. Go there and look for: " Water Flow Sensor 0.3-6L/min Switch Meter Flowmeter Counter Sensor Water Control 1/4" 1.75MPa DIY Kit" Good luck !!
Very helpfull this solved my problem. My machine would stop after 2 sec and after the procedure it works. The magnet was very rusty, I cleaned it, removed it, drilled a whole through the spinning disk and glued the magnet on top instead of the bottom of the disk so it is closer to the sensor

Hi, Eridilson!
[Edit] Please just ignore my question below: you've already said what the wires mean.
____
My coffee machine is leaking from that flowmeter and I will only try to repair it after get another spare part in hands.
Can you remember what wires you match the original ones?
Consider the following:
- Cuisinart flowmeter: white, brown (or red) and yellow
- Generic flowmeter: yellow, black and red
Thx for your time.

Press program set once, then switch to clock mode to set time.

I was about to abndon pods on this machine, and then I actually used the Pod filter basket - it worked like a charm. Decalcifying is not a bad idea.
SOURCE: My Cuisinart DTC -975 coffemaker fails to pump
My Cuisinart Espresso Maker EM-200 won't pump the water in and then the manual, one cup, and two cup lights come one and they flash and beep. What am I doing wrong?

Check first that both filters (the water filter and the grounds filter) are in place correctly. Also check that the white tab in the grind cover moves freely when the lid is closed. (You can use a fork tine to test.) If that doesn't solve your beeping issue, contact http://www.cuisinart.com/support/us.html or 1-800-726-0190. I did and they are sending me a new unit at no charge.

Try resetting the machine to its factory settings as per the manual and see. Resetting the Factory Settings To revert to the original factory settings: 1. Press the program button once. 2. Press and hold down the manual button and program. 3. Continue holding down manual and program buttons for approximately 3 seconds or until you hear 2 beeps. When you hear the 2 beeps, the light around the 1 cup button and 2 cup buttons will flash, and after that, the program light becomes solid. The espresso machine has now returned to the original factory settings and the next time the single or double espresso functions are used the espresso pours will be 1.5 and 3.0 oz. 4. The espresso machine will then return to normal operation mode and is ready to make another espresso at the push of a button. ---------------- Also is it under warranty. Keep updated.Thanks.Helpmech.
