Check that you have the memory and processor timings right, eg both running at pc3200 or 266, within the bios settings. make sure the the processor isnt overclocked, so you may need to reset the cmos jumpers and start again, also the board may only run on two memory sticks of the same size or make and compatable and also use the correct slots if it has 3 of them as they have to be fitted into specific slots to work correctly.

Hi i am using 8i845gvm-rz gigabyte mother board, and i have currently installed windows 7, but my graphics is not working well. where could i find my graphics driver ? my ram is 1gb. my graphics card is...

If you cannot find the drivers you need on the Gigabyte site, there's a good chance that due to the age of the motherboard there are no Win 7 drivers. In that case, you can either upgrade to a different motherboard or install a new video card that does come with the correct drivers.

Changed MSI MB to Gigabyte. I get bios and even the windows recovery window but every time it just restarts and wants to do a start up and repair that always fails. Help.

This is Gigabytes link to downloads. Did you uninstall software from MSI? Try to shut down, unplug system, and restart. You might want to consider a "system restore" back to when it did work. Did it work at all with new board?

Installed new motherboard (Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L), I cannot figure out where to plug the blue & white wire coming from the main power button on the front of the computer on the motherboard. Please...

hello tami_hennacy

unfortunately the wiring color for computer cases are not standard. so blue and white does not mean much. you need to look at the connection on the tip of the wire to see if it is labeled so you can locate the corresponding connection point on the mother board. Gigabyte motherboards have a very good step by step discretion of all connections.

if it is not labeled then you need to oped the case front panel and see what the other end of this pair of wires is connected to.

hopefully this has helped
good luck

it may be an open input side coupling capacitor in the feedback circuit around the power amp. if the amp has a limiter in it it may be stuck. here is the service manual, in any case.

I have a gigabyte n650SLI-DS4L and c2q q830, Memory 2gig kingston and a Sparkle GeForce 9600 GT Problem: System restarts after 5-7 minutes of playing NBA 2k11, and other games. pls Help!

Motherboards usually will automatically shut down to prevent damage being done to the system if there is any, such as high temperature. In your case, it restarts when you are playing games, which take more power to process than other things. It seems like that your graphics adapter, CPU or something else might be overheating. You might need to consider upgrading some parts for better cool if overheating is the case.

Wiring

Click the link listed below that will take you Gigabyte. Download the manual described as, (English-Rev. 1103, format pdf, size 7.47Mb). The case leds placement is on pg. 25. USB's on pg. 27. Everything you need to setup this Ultra motherboard is here.

The only thing not mentioned for connecting the case led wires to the motherboard is the wire colors. Which is, pos+ & which are neg -. Usually white colored & black colors are negetive -. Other colors like Green, Blue & red are pos+.
This should make it much easyer to install.
