If you open the panel where you replace the ink cartridges there is a square hole directly behind the control panel. The area gives you enough space to put your hand under the plastic and you will feel what I only describe as a plastic latch, pull it and you should feel the control panel loosen to then be able to close.

Your cartridge may need to cleaned. On the printer operator panel, press Setup button -> Maintenance -> Deep Clean Printhead. Your printer will then print a test page forcing ink through the cartridge nozzles and clean them.
If that doesn't help, your printer probably needs to be updated. The firmware update, available at http://bit.ly/p205fw, will help fix print quality issues.

This could be because of some blocked printer communications. Make sure to allow these communications in the program rules/permissions for your firewall. These articles should guide you on how to configure your firewall.

Lets clean it this way;
- open any documents
- go to file > print ( or ctrl + P)
- When the print window opens click 'properties'
- In the properties window click 'Maintenance'
- 1st do the normal 'cleaning'
- 2nd do the 'deep cleaning'
- do the print Head Alignment'
- do Nozzle check'
- Skip 'Ink cartridge settings' (if the ink level is ok)
- do 'Bottom plate cleaning'
- do 'Roller cleaning'
- click 'OK'
- turn Off and ON printer.
Now insert the load paper and take print. : ) done
