Hi,
You have to try to load Windows to in safe mode and if that does not
help you have to the Windows recover and troubleshooting options explained in the link below: 5 Ways to Boot into Safe Mode in Windows 8 Windows 8 1
Safe Mode is for trouble shooting only. Download via another device and copy over. Make sure to install in regular mode. You have bigger problems if you can't get there.
Welcome to Fixya. I would like to know if you were able to boot to Safe Mode? Try to restart the computer then tap F2 and see if you will be able to access it on safe mode. Did you upgrade the Operating System to Windows 7 64bit or it came with the system? Did you install any programs or update and it is working before? Please provide the information needed to be bale to help you fix the issue.
Hi,
2 solutions since there were 2 types of iPhone (Original and Jailbreak). It may or may not work. If any of them works, just share for others. It really annoyed you since u were too used to it with iPhone.
1. If its an Original iPhone, u legally bought it from Apple Store. Delete the application from your phone and iTunes as well. Download the latest version from Apple Store to your iTunes and sync to your phone. You could re-download Facebook App as well if u wish. Don't log in to FB. Only do when Bejeweled Blitz asks you to.
(or) you could try the post by Kenex Lee at http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=40343401983&topic=20869#topic_top
2. If its a Jailbreak iPhone, it doesn't matter where did u download it. What you need to do is to use the SBSettings Power Reset Mode. When you press the 'Power' button the drop down menu let you choose things like "Reboot", "Power Off". "Safe Mode", "Lock", etc.. Choose "Safe Mode". It will restart and your phone boot up w/o all your settings. I mean whatever you've modified on your phone. Then you try to play the game. It should be able to log in and connect online through FB since its a safe mode like PCs. If this solve the problem, you may change back to all your jailbreak settings.
If its still not working, you might need to Jailbreak again or Restore with iTunes(iOS will upgrade to 4.3.2) and jailbreak again.
I wish this helps your problem. I am not very sure whether Original iPhone(no jailbreak) has an option "Safe Mode" since i jailbreak mine on the very day i collected it. Have fun! Live Happy! Nothing Last Forever!! ^_^

For the Lenovo to to start in the safe and networking mode, and then not have a display when you attempt to boot it in normal mode, I would follo the these steps:
Boot in networking mode, and then go to the Lenovo site and download the most current display drivers. Since you are able to operate as described above, I would start here first. Once you have successfully downloaded the most current drivers for the video on your system, BEFORE you leave the Lenovo site, check your system against the listed bios upgrades. I believe you may find you need to upgrade your system firmware. If so....download the upgrades you need, and finish the display drivers updates as discussed above, and keep the fresh firmware updates set aside and see if the display driver updates allow you to boot normally.
If so, once you have a normal boot, backup your systems RIGHT away! The next step is to then carefully read the docs about how to update the firmware. Sometimes this will require a floppy drive, if so, you can most likely either pick up a USB one very cheaply or perhaps borrow one. At any rate, make sure your system is backed up fully, and preferable with a restore point, (if you are able with XP?)
Try these measures, if it is successful I would love to hear that from you by way of a testimonial. If you are not - please return here for further assistance. I have additional help for you - but I do not think at this time you have a hardware problem.
The link below will take you to where you can download the drivers. However your specific model is not listed but it's a safe bet any of the 1500 series driver will work. I would choose the "D1558" model being that it's the closet match to yours.
Hi there. This could be 1 of 2 problems, lets start with the first. #1 Bad display drivers
Boot the laptop into safe ( i am assuming you know how to do this by your post ) on the computer icon, right click and select manage, a new window will pop up and then select device manager, the list will populate with hardware that installed on the PC, look down the list for display adapters and click on the + sign on the left hand side to open the tree, then right click on the display adapter and select uninstall. Now restart the laptop and let it boot up as normal, if the display drivers were bad it will boot with the screen resolution as large, once you log in it should auto detect the display and install the drivers (you may have give it permission) if this works then that was the problem.
#2 Faulty graphics card.
Take advantage of the manufacturers warranty and send it in for repair as there will be nothing you can do about this kind of hardware failure.
Please post back with the results and more help if needed, good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!
