I'll be glad to assist you in locating the digital channels in the TV. Make sure that the Cable or Antenna Input is connected to the TV. The Cable and Antenna input can be connected to the VHF/UHF Input on the TV. The TV can search for the channels only if the VHF/UHF/CABLE input is connected to the TV. If you're connecting the Cable box or the Satellite Receiver to the Video or HDMI inputs on the TV, then it is not require to auto program the TV. Here, the auto program may be required in the cable box. To Auto Program the TV, select the Manual Channel Search option from the Menu option and then select the CABLE, AIR or Digital Add-On option depends on the connection. The Digital Add-On option adds any new digital channels that are found to the Channel Scan Database. This should resolve the issue. Please feel free to get back to us for further assistance. Thanks for contacting FixYa.
It seems you are using a set top box to access tv programs. I that case when a person changes the channel all the connected TVs will change. You should use extra set top box for multiple independent viewing.
U are recieving an using DTV Free AIR broadcasting tv signal wright, get a better antena like a roof or a newly design digital antena for uses. This problems dose not happen to cable or sattellite services,i know this because their broadcasting tv signal frequencies are very strong and very high ranges of a broadcasting signal output for their recieving boxes.
In order to set up HD you need either an HD antenna, or a digital cable/satellite box. If you have cable or satellite you have to make sure you have HD service through your provider. If you do just hook up your box to your T.V. using either HDMI or component (blue, green, red). Then you'll have to look through your channels to find out where your HD channels are.
Go into the menu. Go to CHANNEL and press enter. Go to AUTO CH MEMORY and press enter. Press the right arrow on remote to change the signal type to AIR. Go down to AUTOMATIC SEARCH and press enter. Wait for it to finish on its own. You should have all the analog and digital channels you can get with the antenna setup you have connected to the tv.
If you have regular cable, without a cable box, use the automatic channel search feature in the menu. If you have unscrambled digital cable channels it will pick them up. You can also call the customer service number on the set if you need help.
